Jenn, Ali, and Alberti all end the majority of their sentences with "right", too. I think they are trying to fill airtime. It is super annoying and that word jumps out at me each time they say it. I really wish these hosts would regularly watch themselves and make changes accordingly.

OMG. I do not miss that. In fact, I think that's probably part of the reason she was given the boot. That was so annoying and childish.

I think I've seen all three of the new hosts . . . and they seem to be a delightful change of pace from the regular "type" hired. The ones I saw didn't seem self-absorbed, in love with the camera or the make-up! They each behaved as normal people, actually "humble" (but not shy) would be the best word, in comparison to other hosts. Each was well-prepared, carried on complete sentences (!) without any stammering or strange pauses or weird phrases (right?) (yeah) (oh, God) (love that!) (can I say this?) (I have a story . . .) or clearing her throat (gag me!) or whipping her nose on air (SO GROSS!).

They were each dressed appropriately for their program, hair was done neatly and arranged to stay out of the face throughout the hour. Not one of the new hosts touched her hair or face during their presentation or messed around with her clothing.

They were comfortable on-air and it showed! There was not any attempt at acting or modeling or checking the cameras to see how one appeared on TV; wasn't necessary for confident, prepared women. They also knew the products being sold! Imagine that? Use of English language was fabulous! Nothing was repeated over and over to bore the viewers.

These intelligent, ambitious women paid attention throughout their training and will do very well at QVC quickly.

None of them will be going from host to host to get help a year later like NY has been doing and talking about her BFF's on air. She's still too weird and her loud unmodulated voice, prancing around, and excess meme behaviors makes watching even a normally good program unbearable. She takes away from the product being sold with her antics. I have no interest in Nancy!

WOW out with the old...in with the new...I wonder who, if anyone's head will be on the chopping block now??? FIRING hosts and hiring new ones!

I am afraid it makes perfect sense to do away with the old and hire new. Of course the new hosts will make less than the fired hosts. It is all a common theme in businesses and hospitals as I worked in one for 40 yrs .( a hospital )

Again with the Dan and Carolyn back. Maybe they don't want to come back. Can't we just say enuf?

And they were not fired. Probably knew weeks in advance that they were being VERPed.

@Group 5 minus 1 They did not know weeks in advance that they were going to be laid off. Two days before it happened, Carolyn was talking about her upcoming shows and items she said she collaborated on with Denim & Co., and some pet products. Dan's FB posts after-QVC clearly hint at being surprised at the very sudden lay off.
