Maybe one of them will replace Jen Coffey.  I want to cut and style her hair so bad!! She tries to appear younger and it just makes her look older!!  She models clothes a size too small sometimes also, but she is not the only one.

Like any large coporartion QVC hires and fires whoever they please. I don't see why some get so irrate over this.  I think it's boring to not let a host have a personalty.  Times change and life goes on.  I could only wonder how some of you will do as hosts.  Why not try to get a hosting job at QVC  and read about how badly you are doing?

You can't please all the people all the time. If youi don't like a host, then don't watch.  There are some I don't watch and in those times I'm watching QVC and they come on, I just change the channel.

Enjoy your weekend and don't sweat the small stuff, life is to short!

Thankfully, this forum isn't the only place to chat about the goings on of QVC.  There are other social media outlets, and livestream chats that have an overwhelming number of posts about the new hosts, such as a simple:

  • Welcome!
  • Good Luck
  • Looking forward to your shows

They don't have any head start to seeing how these three will do as hosts.  A simple Welcome didn't cost them a thing.

How absolutely refreshing.

The new upcoming hosts have good looks and may arouse some jealousy among the troops.  A new show afoot called The Real Hosts of QVC...haha!

Seriously, though, if they're bringing in new attractive talented hosts they need to bring in new lines of better clothing, products, etc. for them to sell.

Somehow I don't picture any of them selling a portable fan or D&C clothing.  Do you? Cat LOL

Absolutely none.....but that is the agenda these days.

@kelsey17 @granddi I could relate to any of them because I don't judge compatibility based on a photo. Your agenda is showing.

Agenda? It was just a comment based upon observations that older/veteran hosts have been terminated in favor or younger/new to the Q hosts. I'm an old lady who enjoyed the presentations of more mature hosts.

@granddi  - You may enjoy the presentation styles of these new younger hosts.  Give them a chance.

I enjoy the presentation styles of Stacey Rush, along with Kathy Levine.  Different ages, but both enjoyable.

Nothing new here: the Q has always done this. When in trouble, instead of bringing in new vendors and interesting merchandise and products, they play around with the hosts and different, cute show names.

I call it switching around chairs on the Titanic.

You said it well. I don't shop at Nordstrom because I enjoy the sales clerks. It is because of the merchandise/prices/policies. QVC live is not Nordstrom. it has a selling model that encourages the customer to connect with or bond with the selling representative.

@songbird  I agree about the performance background, just like Sarah at HSN was a Rockette and love-him-or-hate him Alberti and his pop group.  A few of these people came from news reporting or radio broadcasting too, like Courtney, Shawn and Carolyn.

There is a performance aspect that is required for them and a handful were just naturally good at the hosting, but I could care less about "influencers". As a middle aged person I don't need some 20-30 something telling me to spend my disposable income because they are some sort of self-designated "important person".  My age range is the disposable income group, QVC is missing the mark again. No one I know follows influencers or cares what they are talking about. They are paid most of the time by the product that they are "reviewing" (pushing you to buy).

I hope they clean house though and trim some people that are not good at presenting, consistently look unkempt and sloppy, vain to the point of unwatchable or just terrible public speakers (Monifa, Julia, Nancy, Kerstin and Jen C are my first round picks.)  There are others but they won't go anywhere, corporate sees them as appealing.

And one of these new women look just like how CK poses all the time puckering her lips and playing with her long hair extensions ALL the time. The beauty "mavens" Shawn, Ck and JT better watch out because this one is coming in hot as they say, and actually (should) know what she is talking about in regards to beauty, as a makeup artist. I also do agree some of them may be more the QVCPlus group, for streaming content.  How many people are using that service though? With the rare exception I am never on there, and definitely not streaming the live TV.  Their roundtable with Rachel, Leah and Jayne was great and informative, and I appreciated that piece, but I would not have even known about it if not for these boards.

Yep, no longer will be watching JAI shows.  Scott WAS the brand.  This new representative does not appeal to me at all.
