Re: 10 Days and Still In Process

[ Edited ]

I ordered an OTO on September 29th. It stayed in process... in process... in process. I just knew they were going to eventually cancel my order because now it was showing "sold out".

I kept calling CS but they just said not to worry. Of course, I worried because in the past year they've cancelled three TSVs or OTOs on me.

It finally shipped on October 13th but, unfortunately now it's headed to the SC "Bermuda Triangle" warehouse... I'm holding my breathe... and my temper... but not for much longer.

Re: 10 Days and Still In Process

I placed an order for an Oct. 26 birthday gift for my brother. I ordered it today, Oct. l4, so he would get it on time. She told me the received date would be Oct. 28. I asked why it wasn't a 7-10 day delivery, as usual. She told me he would "probably" have it by the 26th or even sooner, and they just give that date to be safe for them.

Re: 10 Days and Still In Process

Yeah, this "in process" process is all over the map. I ordered 2 sets of the TSV Berkshire sheets a couple weeks ago. I ordered them the same day, they were the same size, but, 2 different colors. One of the colors, the host said was sold out and would not ship until the middle of October. I got that set in 7 days. The color that was in stock came 5 days later..go figure.

Reading these comments does not give me a good feeling shopping Q for Holiday gifts. Disappointed that Q has started using LaserShip for some items.

I have said this before.  I think the "In Process" plus the shipping time has a lot to do with the warehouse shipping the item.  Some warehouses are dramatically better than others.

Re: 10 Days and Still In Process

I called CS yesterday to ask about a jewelry order that was placed on 10/13 and is still in process. She stated that in about a week the issue with the jewelry warehouse in SC would be resolved. They moved it from PA to SC and then had the flooding. Let's hope so.

I'd like to believe this but Ive read about any number of problems with the SC warehouse dating back to a September 5th TSV which was way before the SC flooding. And my most recent problem with the SC warehouse dated back to September 29th.

Hopefully, things are changing, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
