I see a very old brick weathered wall often observed in old dangerous U.S. neighborhoods.  

 

This dog looks like the Godfather to me, Godfather of the neighborhood.  Not one to be fooled with.  He reeks of power, influence, don't mess with me wearing chains around his neck...and they aren't the type found in jewelry stores.   

 

He just had a son and doesn't quite know what to do with it.  He's not the tender hearted type.  This is new to him.  

 

Maybe, this little tyke will melt some of that very cold exterior.
