These are our cat gang that we call 'the Reds'!

Left to Right, they are Archie, Bug, and Eddie.  Though it doesn't look like it Eddie is the little guy, he's our tripod and he absolutely LOVES Bug. If he cannot be with Bug he cries and whines like a love sick teenager. . . it's pitiful! If he cannot be with Bug he will lower his standards and settle for me. . .   Archie is the new guy, he just came in this fall, it's his second try at being a house cat! He's fixed and now he is comfy in the house....at least for now!

@We rescue cats   They sure are pretty cats.  Beautiful coats.

Oh. My. My. Gorgeous Glorious Guys! I too have an orange boy. He is my heart. Take great care of them. And keep em all inside. Not nearly as dangerous as an outdoor excursion. (All of my kitties have been spoiled house kids). The only danger my cats ever faced was me- kissin, squishin and squeezin (ever so lightly I must say) in moments overcome with my need to love them to kibbles n bits! Your gang is beautiful.

Thank you @MoonieBaby!  I agree with you, all our cats have been indoor only cats for all the years we have had cats. Archie got out last summer due to a worker leaving a door open. There is so much danger out there, we have coyotes, fishers, bobcats, eagles, etc . . .  Yeah our cats are in the same danger!!!

@We rescue cats   I heard on a youtube video that most cats of that color are male rather than femalie.  Is that true?

That is true! Only 1 out of 5 red cats will be female, and reds will often develop black freckles on their nose or lips. I only know what I hear but my breeder friend knows the genetics so well....it's how she know who to use when breeding with her cats to get the colors that she desires. (Maine Coons) It's amazing.

Thank you all!! I really love them all but have to say the reds have a special personality, they are very loving-and they seem to hang together. And the gray striped males are outgoing and often fearless. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to be the caregiver for so many kitties and experience them all.
