Prayers for Shop, her mom and the double J's.
prayers for Tissyanne's mom tomorrow as she has surgery.

Hi Dear Friends, I just checked in and love all the wonderful pictures being posted of all the precious babies. I hope each of you are doing as well as possible. And I thank each of you from the bottom of my heart for every prayer lifted for me, my family and the The J's. Mom will have her treatment this coming Friday, we are concerned but ready for the next challenge. Sweet Jake has improved. I didnt share with you that when I took him to the skin specialist, she was very concerned about some of the tumors which are common in poodles on his back. She sampled two of them and sent them off for pathology and yes, they are canerous. I honestly wasnt readty to type the words last week. But some of the treatment for his actual skin allergy issues are helping, and he has some relief. I will take each blessing. Jake will not be taking chemo for the cancer, I do not want to put him through that. The boys are 13.5 years old and he has had these for a very long time. The specialist said that this cancer is slow to grow and move, so she is in agreement regarding treatment options. He will always be kept comfortable unitl the Lord Above calls him home. Right now both boys are feeling pretty good, eating well, playing and taking a nice daily walk and enjoying much snoozing I will take that any day of the week. Hugs Dear Friends, I am trying each day to be a little stronger, I fell apart a little bit, but I am coming back strong, just like our Fighter I am pulling his strength he taught each of us...Thank you Mister Schmoo.

Good evening Schmoo family,
My Mom had her hip replacement surgery this morning, and the surgeon said it went very well. She went into surgery about 7:30, and was in her room by 10:30. She was not having pain, and even had a liquid lunch which she consumed all of. I am pleased , and she sure is. I did come home about 3:00, and fell asleep for a couple of hours.
Thank you each one for all the prayers, and good thoughts. It means so much to me to feel your support, and love.
@Shop Till you Drop, I will continue to pray for your Mom as she prepares for this treatment. I am sad to read about Joey, and I do understand the heart break. I hope and pray that you and Joey have more quality time together.
I will check in again tomorrow.
Thank you for all the sweet comments about Amore.

Wednesday report: What a bundle of good and tough news these past few days.
Great news on your husband's health. I get ointment into Frankie's eyes because Schmoo trained me as a "cat whisperer."
I'm so glad your mother's doing so well after surgery. She'll be buzzing about her life before you know it.
I'm crushed to hear about Jake's diagnosis and don't blame you one bit about not being ready to type it. Typing it makes it real, and sometimes that's too much to bear. We'll wrap him in prayers and positive wishes that he has much more time to enjoy being spoiled by you.
Spoiling is the best medicine, after all:

Thanks so much to each and everyone of you for your kind blessings and prayers. The J's felt so good soaking in the sun, that sweet Joey couldn't keep his peepers open.
Have a Blessed Weekend Friends. Mom has her new infusion tomorow, I will let you know how she did as soon as possible.

Saturday report: Checking with @Shop Till you Drop to see how your mom's infusion went and how those "sun devils" -- the Double Js, thanks for that cute photo! -- are faring.
Also, @Tissyanne I'm hoping your Mom is doing well. Is she coming home or going to rehab? I'm sure you're all relieved to have the surgery behind you and we hope her recovery is speedy and uneventful.
It wouldn't be a week at the Schmoo household if someone with fur didn't have a medical issue. Fay Wray is off her "uber-antibiotic" and hasn't sneezed yet...4 whole days .... but she developed a pus-filled, whopper of an eye infection requiring steroid drops. We got Frankie's eye infections healed, then when Fay Wray got hers, Frankie's one kicked up again today. Argh! At least my veterinary caregiver skills are sharp.
Aren't the eyes of our pets particularly precious? They really are the windows to their souls:

Hello Schmoo Family,
My Mom moved yesterday to a rehab facility for two weeks, and is receiving physical therapy. She is doing good, but has discovered there is a significant difference in the length of her leg compared to the other one. This is of great concern to us of course. She has asked her surgeon about it, and he said she may have to wear a "block on her shoe?".
Sammycat, you are an expert in the feline world. We may have to address you as Dr. Feline Sammycat. I hope the eye infections are much better tonight.
We are back to hot weather, and then expecting rain the middle of the coming week. Maybe it will cool off then.
Shop, I am continuing to pray for your Mom, and I hope you will be delivering positive news after her infusion.
