Kodak SD Card 2007 2010 (16).jpg

My "Bo" tore the ACL (in left leg ... just diagnosed today) so tomorrow is pre-testing for the TTA operation which includes a titanium plate.  She is now 11 years old, and slightly overweight which is probably what caused the ligament to tear so easily.

My other cocker Gracey tore both of hers in 2016 so I am now wondering if it is genetic (they are litter-mates).  Each leg $4500.  I cannot put a price on my dog's quality of life, but am wondering, why them?   I read that cockers are one of the breeds this can easily occur.
