That is a sweet picture. I do notice how the cat is in charge of the door! A friend is a rehab specialist for department of natural resources. She  ended up with a deer when its mother was hit by a car. The baby arrived as the result of the accident. She bottle fed that deer and worked on rehabing it. It was a failure. The deer kept coming back. Now the deer has a home on her animal sanctuary. It is used to her animals and would be in her yard looking like that picture.

I see you have had to evacuate for the fires. Did you get out ok? My heart goes out to you. That has to be a scary experience. Let us know when you are settled somewhere.
