Re: SOME KITTENS TO START OUR NEW YEAR ...

It's funny I was never a cat person.  We had a dog growing up and DH and I had dogs.

My MIL had a cat and our neighbor had a farm.  Lots of barn cats.  Everyone of those cats gravitated toward me.

Well, I am a crazed cat person now.

That's what happens @CrazyKittyLvr2! I've seen it over and over. Cats are intelligent, and they will try to convince anyone who isn't a cat person - yet LOL - that their snuggles will change their mind.

I had a meeting at home once, with about 15 people. Back then we had two kitties. Guess whose laps they decided to land in, no matter how much attention they got from the cat lovers there? LOL!

We stopped by our local cat adoption sanctuary to drop off our annual donation of prescription food.  It was adoption day and very crowed with both people and kitties to be adopted.

One cage had 8 all black 7-week old kittens, all sleeping piled on top of each other.  We got out of there as fast as we could because we already have 4 cats.  OMG they were so cute!

Like you I was a lifelong dog lover and had them all my childhood, but gravitated to cats as I worked long hours and could not walk a dog-and cats didn't 'need' me. Today I have 13 of them living in our home with us. And I NEED them.

@CrazyKittyLvr2   cats will always win over your ā¤ļø

my cousin and her husband have a farm and I love going to see the barn cats .  My cousin gives them the same food as her indoor cats .  They have wonderful accommodations in the warm barn , good food and attention.  In fact her husband claims she has made them  soft and the no longer hunt the mice,  they are not  mousers any longer lol
