Radar had his re-check yesterday with Dr. Bowers, and we got a very good report!  Dr. Bowers concurred with Dr. Henry's diagnosis of a very bad kidney infection.  There is no tenderness remaining in either Radar's kidneys or his back, and Dr. Bowers felt there is no reason to repeat a round of any kind of antibiotics!  They were unable to get a urine specimen, but the bloodwork will look for a specific enzyme that will indicate whether or not he is in an early stage of kidney disease.  Those results will be in today.  When I picked him up after work, Radar was chipper and anxious to get home!

I can't tell all of you how much I appreciate and love all of you for the prayers and good thoughts you sent our way during this scary time!  Heaven knows we all have stuff daily that we try to deal with just in our regular lives, but when a precious furbaby goes down, the stress, worry and state of being upset elevates to the top of the pile and makes everything else seem that much worse!

I will post blood results when I have them!  All of you have a wonderful day, and kiss your furbabies for ME!!

Great news on Radar's test  results!  I'm relieved for you and him -- have a relaxed weekend now that you have at least this worry erased!

Blood test results are NEGATIVE for kidney disease!!!  No further treatment needed!  In the future, I am going to watch Mr. Radar even more closely than I normally do, and the FIRST sign that he's laying around too much, he's going in to his vet.  I think I attributed much of his laziness to the heat this summer when in reality, he was probably in pain that he was trying to mask!

Thank you again, ladies, for your concern and prayers!!!  Love you all!!
