As some of you already know I recently have been through a medical ordeal with my bichon Chloe. She had cancer behind her eye resulting with the removal of her eye flowed by a round of radiation It involved a lot of procedures and was conducted at Tufts University. Even though it was a huge financial drain we were happy as they said the cancer was curable!

Well now Chloe has excessive thirst and urination and pants a lot and whines. She went to the vet and they conducted some tests which are inconclusive. High calcium level in blood, protein in urine but kidney function good as well as normal red and white blood cells. Vet thinking maybe Cushing's disease but need more tests and will consult with Tufts

. Same day I took my mini poodle Brandy to the vet as I discovered a marble size lump under the skin on her upper leg. The vet did a needle aspiration and said she didn't like the appearance of the cells. Surgery scheduled for March 22 to remove the lump. I really thought I would have a reprieve after going through the whole ordeal with Chloe last summer through November. Now I have two furbabies to worry about. I am a wreck to say the least. So I am asking you to please say a prayer for a good outcome for both- and for me to hit the lottery (just kidding), But PLEASE pray for my sweet babies! TIA!

Sending prayers to your and your family.  W have gone through similar things and it hurts so much when they become ill.  I think we are so lucky today to have such exceptional veterinary care, but it can be very costly.  I think our pets are worth it; they give us so much joy.  I hope everything goes well.

It's showing up in paragraphs on my computer, so you're not doing anything wrong.  And anyway, you don't need to worry about that right now!
