My puppy girl crossed the Rainbow Bridge Dec. 25 2016 and my heart still aches for her. My prayers for your loss and rest assured they will be waiting for us.

@Puppy Galore   Please know that the pain the two of you were feeling was  equal. It's impossible to endure, but as you know when you have a pups most of us will outlive them. Not any comfort, but true.

Please take time to grieve and heal...if possible. Don't forget the wonderful years and memories you have of him and wouldn't trade a moment.

So many of us understand the loss of a sweet fur baby. It must have been hard knowing he was in distress.  But you were with him, and that made his passing a bit easier. I am very sorry for your loss.  Take care of yourself as you grieve as well as remember the good times with your sweet dog.

@Puppy Galore - Sadly, we are never prepared for that day to come, even if we know it won't be far away.

Take comfort in knowing that you were there with him till the end.  He will have known you were there and he was loved.  He was not alone.

Cherish all the years of loving memories.  It will seem too quiet with your beloved pup no longer there, but he had a long, happy life with you.  You gave him 13 1/2 years that he might never have had.  Please take comfort in that.  Heart
