IT’S RAINING KITTENS! FOSTER A KITTEN WITH KITTEN RESCUE

Foster a Kitten with Kitten Rescue

Los Angeles struggles with an intensive and lengthy kitten season, stretching anywhere from February until November and peaking in June and July.  With so many underage kittens flooding into the LA Shelters, rescue groups are hard-pressed to find safe accommodations for all these little lives.  Foster parents are the heart, soul and lifeblood at Kitten Rescue. When you foster a kitten, you can make the largest impact and help us save the greatest number of lives!

Foster a Kitten

Fostering with Kitten Rescue is both fun and rewarding. Our Foster Kitten Program is designed to be flexible and to cater to your availability and capabilities. All you need to do is fill out our Foster Form, come to an orientation to learn how everything works, and you can take home adorable kittens that same day! Orientations are scheduled every Thursday at 1pm and every other Sunday (excluding holidays). Alternative times for orientation are available upon request.

Adult Cats Need Fostering, Too

Kittens not quite your speed? We have both teenage and adult cats who would be so grateful for a foster home! Teens and adults often take a backseat to the flood of cute kittens during kitten season, and they need foster homes, too, while we look for forever homes for them and get them out to adoption events.

Let’s Get Going!

Okay! Ready to get started? Fill out our Foster Application to sign up for an orientation. Questions? Email us at foster@kittenrescue.org.

Re: Los Angeles/area kitty lovers

It's a good program. I have a student whose family fosters kittens. The mom is a SAHM and has the time to do it. I'm afraid my little townhome with two cats already in it, has no room for such a thing.  It breaks my heart when I see them.  I've had four cats up to date, two have passed on, and they all came from shelters, my dogs, too.
