I am so sad to find out that Lewis, the koala bear rescued by a lovely lady from a wildfire in Australia, had to be put to sleep as his burn injuries worsen. The koala hospital did all they could. God bless him, his rescuer, and everyone who tried to save Lewis. I’m crying and cannot even watch the rescue video a second time. Prayers for all❤️🐾🙏😢

That dear lady was a kind soul in rescuing the little bear from the fire...sh could have been injured herself. Sorry he didn’t make it....and I pray the fire is out soon and more koalas are spared. I read that 70% of the koala habitat was in danger of being destroyed by the fire. Prayers for the workers and additional crews fighting this terrible fire.

I heard on the NBC Nightly News last night that over 1,000 Koala Bears have been killed in these terrible fires, they're trying to save as many as possible but they're in danger of becoming extinct.

Oh, so sad. The poor baby. I cried when I saw that story and couldn't 

stop thinking about all of them.
