We use a Seresto collar for Benny, our Springer Spaniel.🐾

@Tinkrbl44   I use Simparica trip for heartworms, fleas and ticks. I live in the woods and haven't had problems.

We use Bravecto.  We also live out in the country on a hundred acres, much very wooded.🌸

Simparica has worked well; one dose for fleas, ticks and heartworm protection.

Here in WV, any dog that is outside, is going to get a tick on them at some point.  With deer passing thru daily, there are ticks, ticks, and more ticks in the grass.  

 

We medicate orally so that when the tick bites the dog, the tick dies.  We pull dead ticks off our dog all summer.
