Oh @branny  you might be surprised - you might want to check the shelter for an elder cat. . . there are often kitties who have lost their human and are in need of a home. We adopted George when his person passed, the only info we had was that he was alone in the apartment and was 16 years old. We were lucky and had him for 9 years.

Maybe you could.  I adopted 2 medium sized dogs when I was 73.  Worked out fine.

So true, in my cat's, half bath, otherwise know as my laundry room, I have Audrey Hepburn, from BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S!
