I've been feeding Zignature kibble for quite a few years with homecooked topping.  I don't think they use any chicken but they might use peas and other ingredients mentioned here.  Sometimes I cook rice or oatmeal and add it in for grains.  I'll check out Fromm.  I recall it's more expensive, but that isn't a problem feeding a small dog.
