Re: Do Your Cats Walk In Front Of You....Slowly.

Hi. My boy did that for years but since he got to about age 10 he stopped. My only guess was maybe he was trying to stick to me until we got to the food, lol.

Yes!  My Kenny does this all the time.  My husband used to call our cats "underfoot kitty" but Kenny is the underfootest of all of them lol.  He follows me - or goes ahead of me - everywhere.  He even does it when I'm coming in from being out for awhile - he'll go ahead of me up the stairs.  Sometimes I'll say to him "goooo" and he does lol.  Sometimes I'll give him a little scoot like when I'm carrying groceries.  He misses me when I'm gone - has to head bump and I give him kisses going up the stairs.

I always try and walk between mama's legs.     She gets real scared she's gonna step on my feet...

Thomas is notorious for rolling over in from us in the morning when we go to the kitchen.

What bothers me the most is when he's in my way and switches his tail. As I carefully take a step, he switches to the other side. I can't tell you how many times I've stepped on him 🙀scares me and I go off balance.

My little Yorkies use to do that in front of the vacuum cleaner.  They knew I'd wait till they walked past.  LOL.  I miss those babies.

Most of the older cats know to move out of the way, but the newest one stops right in front of me constantly. He ends up getting a bump or easy kick.  He just doesn't learn!

Yes! My cats do this all the time. I'm always petrified that I'm going to accidentally step on one when they "block" me.

My Mommiecat is very placid and never walks near my feet.

Lucia plants her big behind right in front of me and I have to ask her to move so I can put all the food dishes down.

Bindi walks right with me and I have to be careful not to step on his little feet.

Especially when it's meal time!

I have several like this ,  and have had in the past .   As soon as I start walking from one rooom to another there they are and they will not move out of the way !  I have tripped so many times .  If I'm heading done the hall my Luna Mae has to run ahead of me hoping I'm going in the kitty room so she can get some loving on the bed .  Plus elects face  it cats are very noisy and must see what we're doing !   I have very noisy kitties !!
