I used chewy for about 3-4 months.  They have my dog's brand which is really hard to find but I had to buy normal 30lb for him plus a small bag to add up to enough for their free s/h.

I now buy one 30lb bag for free at amazon.com.

I think some folks are using Petflow - dot - com now instead of Chewy because of the sale of the company and the loss of special brands. My next bag of Taste of the Wild will be coming from the little shop in town, but the next buy will be from Petflow.

If you search the company name you'll find posts from people who've bought from them.

Once I started buying cat food online, there was no going back.  I had just bought four cases of cat food.  The day the delivery came, my cat passed away.  I called chewy and asked told them I wanted to return my order.  I needed it out of the house because it was too painful to look at.  They questioned me.  I told them my cat died.  They refunded my money and told me to give the cat food to a friend.

Petflow is equally as good as Chewy. I actually started with them & only moved to Chewy because the food was a couple $$ cheaper (at that time).

I have no desire to drive to my local high-end pet store to buy the amount of food I need (too far away). But, I do believe in helping the local small stores....just not for this.

I use online shopping for things I can't get locally. I guess it's convenient to ship dog food and maybe they do a fine job, but I think for some things that are bulky and heavy like dog food, it's wasteful to package and ship-

I'll just use my muscle and go buy it at the store and carry it myself.  We have to keep local businesses in business-  That's my opinion.

I've used PetFlow for many years.  After a year with them, they started giving me a 10% discount on all auto-delivery orders.  I have tried Chewy a few times.  The only difference I've seen in the two companies is that Chewy delivers in a day faster.  I've now used PetFlow for more than five years and am currently getting a 25% discount on all my orders.  Customer Service is wonderful and they do a lot of work with rescue groups.  Chewy can't compete with the prices I get from PetFlow....plus Chewy no longer carries the brand I use.

Well, I'm greatly disappointed that Petsmart has bought out Chewy 'cause my boy loved FrommGold. I just got off the phone with them and they are still trying to procure FrommGold - nothing yet though.

Just thought I'd mention if anyone's on auto-delivery with Pet360 for meds, Pet360 was bought out by Chewy, which, of course, was bought out by Petsmart, so should you get an email from Fedex of a pending delivery from the Petsmart Pharmacy in Louisville, KY, it's the auto-delivery that you've set up with Pet360.

Chewy does have the very best customer service, imho!

Why are you changing from Chewy to Petflow if you purchase Taste of the Wild?  That is one of the brands Chewy recommended in their brochure as an alternative to Orijen so they are still selling it.

I had a $15 off coupon for Chewy and I used it for Orijen dog food.  Without the coupon, Chewy was more expensive than my local mom and pop pet store, so I didn't reorder.

Since then Chewy has sent me many good coupons, but none f them ecan be used for dog food.

i was happy with their service, but they were too expensive.  Now that they no longer carry Orijen, I will not be using them again.
