BEEKMAN BABY GOATS

[ Edited ]

I know the goats they bring on the show are not their goats because to transport the goats from their farm would be stressful, but the baby goats they bring to their shows are just so danged cute.   They are such innocent little creatures and the look so happy abd content.   I love looking at them.  They fill my heart woth joy as do all critters.

They are so cute. I have seen the goats appear on ShopHq and HSN also.

I have desperately pleaded for a mini goat to "help my husband with the lawn", but my husband continues to refuse and I guess the cat isn't too crazy about the idea either.

I LOVE THEM!

First time NYS brought ? a huge number of baby goats from PA farm to the Great NY fair.........cost thousands..but when pens  were avail & goats settled in....one was deemed sick...WHIISH .....all back to PA in a blink.

Reported NO......... owners or fair said they won't be back for another year..too costly.or risky.

They are very cute, but are treated as farm animals.  The females are kept for breeding and milking and the males are destroyed or killed for their meat because they serve no purpose on a milk farm.

Male goats stink to high heaven once they reach puberty, so not many are kept on the farm and you do not need the actual billy on the farm for procreation anymore.

This is sad. It doesn't sound like a happy existence to me.
