Hi everyone!   Some of you might remember me when I posted in the fall about my beloved Penelope crossing the rainbow bridge.  We immediately got another Jack Russel, Molly, and she is now 10 mos.  My Vet. said it is now the right time to start her on adult dog food.  Penelope was on a Vet. prescription diet for her entire life as she had so many allergies and that was all I knew.  I have been searching for the best, natural, healthy food for Molly and decided on Fromm.  I just gave it to her today for the first time (mixed in with her puppy food to gradually wean her off it as per my Vet.)

Does anyone else use Fromm?  Are there any other brands that are also top notch that you would recommend or should I stay with the Fromm.  By the way, she loved it! Thank you.

I feed my shih tzu Fromm Lamb and Lentil. She loves it. I did a lot of reseach and think for dry dog food this is a top brand. It is family owned and no ingredients from China. They also own and operate their own plants in Wisconsin so have total control over that

@loveour4leggedfriends  Yes,  Fromm  is a highly rated dog food.   I gave it to my dogs for several years until Amazon ran out of it and didn't get more.   I get all my dog food delivered free under Prime so I had to change brands.   Now I'm feeding Canidae.

ChicShopper:  Thank you!  Yes, I did a lot of research and would never order any food not made in the USA and also loved the fact that it is a family owned company and their food seems to be packed with lots of great nutrients.   I was just so over-whelmed when I saw all the different brands and options.  I was very impressed when I opened the can food (mixed a little in with the dry) and when I saw all those carrots mixed in I said to my DH, wow!  this seems healthier than what we eat (it did look delicious though LOL).  I will stick to this and see how it agrees with her over a couple of weeks.  Today was the first day and like I said, she loved it.   Also, I noted that you can switch flavors with this brand without an "weaning" off between flavors which I also liked.

Kachina624:  I order all my all the food, toys, etc. from Chewy.com.  They are amazing.  If I remember correctly it is free shipping after $49.00 and you get everything in about 2 days.

My two miniature Australian Shepherds eat Fromm.  They used to be on Orijen, but that brand does not have any smaller pellets for dogs with tiny teeth, so I switched them to Fromm with the small pellets.  They eat it, as long as I add a spoon of cottage cheese or bits of left over meat or poultry to it.  They have never just eaten any brand of pellets without me adding something to the dry food.  They are very picky.

@lovesallanimals  Yes,  I may sign up for autodelivery as I'm constantly ordering dog food.   There are websites that rate dog food.   My favorite is dogfoodadvisor.Com.   All brands have several levels of quality.   I also fed Merrick for a long time.

I feed this dog food!!! I have been buying this for a long time now, my previous yorkie loved it and I have a new yorkie that loves this food as well. I never hear anyone talking about it so was surprised to see this post, Anyway I feel confident with this food

@saltysails  Love mini Aussies,  my favorite breed,  or as they're now officially known Miniature American Shepherds.  I've had one mini and a couple of regular Aussies.   My old girl is now at least 16 years old.  My mini died several years ago of a ruptured gallbladder.
