Re: Need Ideas For Baby Gift...

You can never have enough Onesies, even with 3 older brothers. Then, a Mommy gift.

I always give books as baby gifts; I choose one or two very simple ones for babies and then maybe add one or two that he/she can grow into. Since there are already several kids in the family, you may consider buying some newly released books to avoid duplicates. It's never too early to start reading to children. Smiley Happy

@Sunshine Kate - I would treat this baby like the ONLY baby, and instead of getting an outfit he can wear in 6-12 months, I would get an outfit he can wear now.

The boys were probably born at different times of the year too, and you could think about characters that are popular now, like Bluey!

I always give the mom a little "personal" basket too!  Smiley Happy

my go to, raved about gift is Baby Uggs.  Not only are they stinkin' cute!!!  They are warn, cozy, and for baby well so they can wiggle toes. They come in white, pink, blue, and chestnut they have crib style and regular. I love the curly style below myself.  They run 40-48 bux, and usually steal show, amd something most mothers can't buy for baby.  But if out of ones reach, Jelly Cats are super popular here

ETA I see it is not first baby.  Diapers, diapers diapers.  Most appreciated. And cute onsie

@CarolinaGirl88  At the last baby shower I went to, the hostess requested giving a children's book instead of a baby shower card. At the end of the shower, the parents had a nice starter library for the baby.

Re: Need Ideas For Baby Gift...

How about a year  or half year pass to a local zoo or children's museum?  We have a cute little farm near here called Blackberry Farm with baby animals and small things for young children to do.  I gave a gift pass to someone and they loved it!
