Hello Pam...some inform Ref: My little new one.

@PamfromCT

I absolutely did want to let you know, without going back to former....

that KC is in the hospital.

All along, I knew she was quite ill or stressed from the uprooting.

She has to undergo Xrays, a lot of blood work (profile for damage to intestines) and do a thorough 24 watch and a 6 hour hydration infusion. Her entire abdomen was starting to extend. Her bladder was at the point of being ruptured, not to have any lull missing of said blocked intestines due to the traumatized uprooted 'dump' at this crud shelter for 8 full days.

The best outlook we had was no fever, no infection.

She will be home,  'if Ok'd by Dr', - in about 24-30 hours.

I will be at different posting forums, but not OVER there, again.

That's just the way my terms will be.

This was nothing to do with finding any certain little place space; she was under a mental stressed situation...just like a human when losing someone.

Stress and anxiety can kill any living thing, I am now, darn sure of.

I always will be in touch with you. You certainly know I am good for ``````````_that!_

I acted out ASAP for what I deemed an emergency, so it definitely was My call to take her to ER. She lost almost 4 lbs in 3 days, so I have very little hope in believing she would make it one more day.

Don't believe I could take another death -back to back....

I may not be a pet doctor, but a darn intelligent medical teacher instructor, so with that- I put the pattern together and called it.

Thank you for being there with no questions asked of ,,,,,,,,,,

Left in the afternoon and back around 11pm.

"long day, and I know you Heartunderstood".......

"hearts and hugs to you", always, B.

Dear @NAES1, Oh, I am just so sorry to hear about your dear little KitteeCream.  While it sounds like she certainly has some serious medical issues, with excellent medical care and love and prayers - I feel she will pull through.  The poor little kitty!  I just can't believe this "shelter" didn't know things weren't right with her.  If that's how they care for the helpless animals in their charge, they should close their doors.

I know now there are times when an owner cannot keep a pet.  times of grave illness of caregiver, times when a caregiver must go into a nursing home situation, etc.  However, if this happened in my home, I would hope and pray a family member would take over guardianship of my kitty.  After hearing this story...what a nightmare.

I am happy that this tiny kitty came to you for help.  But you have just "been through the mill" and absolutely did not need this.  Period.  Fortunately, KitteeCream came to a situation where she would be loved and cared for, with no question of the emotional and financial investment involved.  Some folks just can't pay these high vet bills.

I pray for a complete physical and emotional healing of KitteeCream, as well as a transition of peace and happiness for you and your DH as guardians of a kitty who brings you delight.

Love,

Pam

(and Lily kitty)

Please keep me informed!

Re: Hello Pam...some inform Ref: My little new one.

Dear @NAES1, I have been waiting to hear about your situation.  I have not wanted to bother you, as I am sure coming to the threads is probably the last thing on your mind right now.  And rightly so.  So many of us have experienced similar situations, so we completely understand.

My heart has been heavy for worry and concern for you and Kitty.  I, and many others, are hoping and praying there has been a positive outcome.  I think that Doo feels this very strongly, as well.  I think she is heartbroken over a wedge between you both.  Just saying it is what it is.  Communicating in writing is so much more difficult than face to face.

Please get get back to us with an update.  We all miss you and want to hear from you.  You are a Fluffette, and we stand together through thick and thin.  give us a chance to lighten your burdens just a bit.  Think of how you have helped so many through rough times.  You are so dear to my heart, and I am so anxious to hear from you.  I try to allow sister friends "space" during hard times, but this is really driving me crazy.  Much love to you, my sweet NAES.   Pam
