like i said originally, there are always litters in rescues. i remember when i was on a search for a companion pup for my older dog & i remember specifically thinking "wow there's so many dang puppies and i do not want a puppy!!" lol

i just look into adopting from shelters and rescues simply because i like to think of it as "saving a life". i got my 1 yr old (now 4yrs) mix, as he was abused as a pup. big learning experience for the 2 of us, with training him and what not. now he's the biggest love and goofball and it's such a rewarding experience to see him being "normal" knowing that i helped him.

but like i said, you can find pure bred puppies in shelters, just so you know for the future. i understand that this puppy isn't just for you and sometimes you just can't break others opinions. plus, for future knowledge, rescuing an animal is tax deductible in some states, another added bonus for saving a life.

i do hope you find the pup you've been looking for, rescue or not. they all need our love!

OMG feline and Stella: I have been a kitten cam fan since the Spice Kit-tens! I'm in WA state. This is sooo cool!!! Who doesn't love FD John and The Critter Room and watching kit-tens? So great to find both of you!
