not a fan of the scarf around the head look and i dont think many can pull it off. cannot remember the last time i saw someone around our area wear this particular look.

i do LOVE scarves though......just for other areas of my body or on my purse.

In the late 1960s, I had a collection of triangular scarves in different colors that had fake gold coins dangling from them.  I wore them only in Greece, where I had purchased them.  The photo below is similar but not same.  My scarves had one row of coins hanging and was smaller.

ETA: Not certain I made it clear that I wore this sort of scarf wrapped around my head, with the coins jingling across my forehead.  (May I read your palm?)

I love and wear scarves all the time when cooler weather arrives (fall and winter). Never on my head as you have to clean them and that costs quite a bit of money when they're silk.

@samiam try a wool wash and cool water. That’s how I have cleaned all my scarves for years, even my most expensive Hermès, and have never had a problem. Same for cashmere. So much less damaging than the dry cleaning solutions.
