Whisper Knit Ribbed Turtleneck: Is this a defect?....

Received mine in Fawn. Beautiful. Tried it on. Perfection. Looked in the mirror and.... hmmm.

 

On the front chest area (not breast, but chest) the material appears lighter and there is an imprint of the same ribbing that is the turtleneck. You can see it plainly when it's on... when it's off, you can't. You can't feel anything, but it's there. 

 

Is this a defect in the weave? Did the turtleneck collar leave an imprint due to packing?

@SahmIam Try steaming it.If that doesn’t work try washing it.If you’re still not happy send it back as defective & ask for a replacement.

@NicksmomESQ  Thank you for the info! Is this common with the Whisper Knits (imprints)? If it is and steaming takes it right out, then I'll know to expect this and it's simply how it ships. I'm steaming the wing collar blouse due to wrinkles...not a defect, just the nature of the material.

Sounds like an imprint from the way it was packed.  I bet it come out after it's steamed.
