This is a first for me with a Linea Item

Hi, gals. This is a first for me. I flew to AZ on Wednesday to attend a retirement party on Thursday evening. I planned to wear my Scarlet Red WK T-neck Swing Sweater over a Black WK pencil skirt. The Sweater was still in the package and never opened. Less than an hour before the car service was picking me up to drive me the 70 miles to the party at Superstition Mountain from my house in North Phoenix, I opened the package to steam the sweater and lo and behold---there was a hole in the sweater right over the left breast area!  Thankfully I had a red, black and ivory Pashmina to wear with and I was able to cover the hole,

I immediately called CS and they had another Medium in stock and they sent it right out. I'll return the damaged sweater when I return to MA on Thursday after my business trip to San Francisco tomorrow. This business trip was not planned, so I'll have to wear the Scarlet Sweater with the hole (and the Pashmina) to a customer meeting on Tuesday, too! Geez, I love that sweater and I'm so relieved they had a replacement in stock.

I turn mine inside out just in case it happens. Sometimes overfilling a washing machine causes the clothes to rub against each other during the washing/rinsing process.

@evelynerI've had the pullover swing sweaters since the first year, when they were ballet neck.  I always machine wash in cold water, inside out, in a mesh zip bag.  Then air dry flat.  Those original swing sweaters are at least two years old (or three?) and so far look as good as new.

I wash all my Linea inside out using the hand wash selection on my washing machine and I've never owned a dryer I am probably one of the few but all my clothes get hung up in my laundry room or laid out on a dryer rack.

Yes, I do. I washed my WK turtlenecks inside out, in a garment bag, on gentle cycle. Very  brief time in the dryer then air dried flat. Wrinkling and pilling like I've never seen.

I just posted somwhere here about that last week.  I purchased a few WK sweaters in various forms - turtleneck, v-neck, sleeveless, long sleeve, etc. based on all the really positive reviews and the huge fan following here.  Yuk.  Most of them wrinkle, pill and some have really lost their shape.   I bought them to replace some older items and now wish I had kept the older items.
