Could someone tell me the difference between Louis's new tees (95/5) tees and Demin &Co.'s old tees(95/5)?  Being that its the same fabric content, just how do they differ?

Re: Tee Question

[ Edited ]

I do not know the Denim and Co tee but the fabric content does not tell one about the quality or thickness of the material. There are many different qualities of cotton and polyester. Linea is very picky about his fabrics because he was the lead designer for Anne Klein. Louis sometimes has special fabrics made for his designer.  I do not know about Denim and Co fabrics but unless you are told they use the same fabrics in all of their tees with 95% cotton and 5% spandex etc., it does not necessarily mean that all of their tees are made of the same fabric. I hope that helps.

I just received one of my tees today and compared it to an older D&C tee I had.  Both are 95/5 cotton/spandex.  To me, the Linea tee is a finer gauge knit and has a silky feel to it.  The D&C is a little thicker feeling.

Id guess there probably isn't a huge difference.   They may even be made by the same manufacturer.

I do own both, and as Karlam said, the Linea Tee is less heavy and definitely feels silkier. I don' think they are the same at all

Not speaking to the quality of either the Linea Tee or the D&C tee as I own neither but there are differences in the quality of the cotton used by different manufacturers.  CHeaper garments are usually a thicker rougher feeling cotton while more expensive ones have a much smoother and finer finish to them.
