My Linea List is forever growing....

…………………The Pearl White Wrap Top…………A390846……is made in a beautiful heavier faux silk, one that I have used before which everyone seemed to love. It feels rich…..it feels expensive. The blouse has body seams front and back, starting at the shoulder and continuing down to the hem. These seams create a front and back panel which allows us to shape the garment so it follows the lines of the body with ease…….The V-neck wrap over is inserted on both sides into these panel seams…..The sleeves are classically straight without any adornment. It is actually a very simple blouse……..Now the V is deeper than usual due to the wrap over, and it is not tacked down anywhere. We tried it, but it created strange pulls and it was better to be as it should be….free. The blouse is meant to be worn with nothing under it, but some may feel more secure with a camisole, tank [like the WK shown above] or even the sleeveless TN, also shown above……I think the top has a retro 20’s look. It is a terrific neckline under many types of jackets like the new TOPPER at the extreme left. The Tuxedo, the Riding Jacket and the Classic Blazer all look great with this wrap over top under them…….It also looks fabulous with the new Big Deal Cardigan as you can see at the right in the caramel……Long skirts, short skirts, dress pants and jeans all work with the new top………Don’t be afraid of the wrap over or the V neckline…….A simple tank or anything else you would like to wear under will be fine, and make you feel very secure………………………………

enjoy…………………….much Love…………………………..Louis

….The Black Wrap top is very versatile as you can see above. It goes from day to night and it transcends seasons, also illustrated above with the variety of looks I have created………………

enjoy……………..much Love………………….Louis

…..The Navy Wrap Top……..again is very versatile and goes from fall/winter to spring/early summer…..Keep it all dark with a column of navy adding an accent like the Red/Navy Tartan, or brighten it up for spring with red and ivory……..If you want to go more casual it looks great with jeans as the center pictures above show so well………………..enjoy………….much Love……………Louis

Does anyone recall the previous items Louis has done with this fabric, heavier faux silk.  Some of the polyesters (crepe feel) cause me to itch and I have had to give them away, some of which were Louis, others not.  I just cannot wear that crepe feel without itching.  Is this similar?  Any information helpful.  I love the look of the V-neck Wrap Top.

I love a good wrap/surplice top. Years ago, Susan Graver did a wrap top that was beautiful. She actually did a shaperinside, it was great. I had three of them, loved them, fit well, looked great. Unfortunately I grew out of them.

However, earlier this season Iman offered a wrap top, long sleeves, four colors. I bought all four of them - red,  navy, black and purple. LOVE THESE, fit great, not too tight. length good, long sleeves (I note this b/c so many are still doing 3/4 sleeves which are okay when it's warm outside!!!). Nice fabric too, holds its shape, launders beautifully. No tank needed underneath but I can if I want to, no bulk.

Check these out on hsn if you so want to.
