Over the past twenty years…..it’s so surreal just typing that…..TWENTY YEARS……..I don’t think I have ever done a TARTAN PLAID JACKET????……plaids and checks quite a few, but not a Tartan. This actually isn’t a true “clan tartan”, but my interpretation of a “clan tartan”……..The fabric is a BOUCLE…….Like with all fabrics there are different types and qualities. Some boucles are very loopy, textured and thick, and some, like this boucle are not…so the look is more slimming!..You can see the boucle effect in the cloth, but this is a PRESSED BOUCLE, which makes the fabric flatter, and feel lighter in weight. It also looks more tailored because it isn’t as soft and lofty as a thicker boucle…So the tailoring is sharper……The accent colors, on the field of the SCARLET RED and NAVY PLAID,  are a bright blue, a green I call spearmint, and a pale ivory that looks perfect with the new Bisque and the Alabaster…. ..The shoulder, like all of my jackets is well defined, and creates the HANG & BALANCE of the jacket…..The jacket has a three button front with dimensional antique looking brass buttons. It has inset band pockets….The body darts and princess seams give the jacket a lovely flattering shape. Of course the jacket is fully lined. The length of the jacket is approx. 26 inches long for the size 4….so it is a shorter jacket….The jacket is numerically sized……The style number is…..A385145…..This small group of clothing, 5 pieces, is well coordinated for complete looks……The beautiful mini floral georgette blouse was created specifically to go with the plaid. Worn together it has a very “designer” look, and something you only find at LINEA on QVC. The print will also appeal, I believe, to woman who aren’t particular print wearers. Those of you who are always looking for a print to coordinate will love this one…..More about the blouse on up coming sneak peeks…….This blazer looks great worn with the print, and combined with JEANS……a very casual going to Sunday brunch look….. They were meant to go together like bacon and eggs….yum!…..Have fun accessorizing with jewelry you may already own such as the Carmine Trevi necklace and the Amalfi necklace, shown above….the Chatelaine brooch…and the Multi Capri necklace, earring and bracelet all also shown above……New jewelry will also be offered that was done to go with this group of clothing, but it’s been delayed due to Covid, but they are coming and the’re beautiful!………………enjoy your Linea TARTAN PLAID jacket……………..much Love…………….Louis

……Since I’m very restricted in how I can show the clothes with only one model per garment I wanted to show you though my sneak peeks other options! Starting from the left…..for fun Holiday dressing the SCARLET RED WK tank, [any scarlet red sweater will work], with the RED Ponte pant. Add your Carmine Red necklace and the Amalfi, and you will drinking eggnog and enjoying all of the Holiday festivities. The Bisque TN with the forest green faux suede pant….the new Faux suede skirt in Navy, and naturally navy pants will work perfectly……I’ve started you with some of the possibilities now it’s time to play……………………enjoy……………………much Love…………………..Louis

………The PINE and BLACK plaid has accents of MAGENTA, FUCHSIA and BISQUE/ALABASTER…..both work as coordinate colors perfectly……So now you know what the PINE TANK goes with! The combination of Pine and the new Magenta faux suede skirt is truly beautiful…..It’s a beautiful and fresh, unexpected mix of colors…..The FLORAL PRINT in the Pine/Magenta works perfectly with the plaid as does the new Magenta blouse with the scarf. Anything BLACK will  be a wonderful contrast to the plaid……..The WINE GLITTERATI NECKLACE highlights the colors, and is just one possibility….but a perfect one……………enjoy……………………..much Love……………………..Louis

I'm in love with the pine, black and magenta colorway!  Brilliant choice of colors, so different!  What a knockout!  Love the patterned blouse with the plaid!

Both colorways are beautiful. What a collection and what a decision to make.  Although, an argument can (and probably will) be made to get both!

Re: Sneak Peek - Tartan Blazers!

Another beautiful blazer.  Unfortunately tried as I may Louis' blazers are always too big on me.  If only they would be available in petites or even a woman's size 0.  I'm so jealous of you gals who are able to purchase the beautiful blazers that have been offered.

Re: Sneak Peek - Tartan Blazers!

I knew from everything Louis said I would love these, but now after seeing them WOW they are beautiful. The colors and the combinations are so fabulous. Even though I'm tall at 5'9" I love the shorter length of these blazers. With jeans they are so much fun and youthful.

The pine blazer with pine tank are calling my name.  I'm interested in seeing these modeled as sometimes the colors come up brighter on pictures.  Very beautiful indeed and both colors would go great with jeans.

Those of us who have A237410 in the fuchsia will have to see if it matches to the new blazer.
