Received Linea Funnel Neck Sweater Yesterday

My "Funnel Neck" sweater in the Lilac Mist color arrived, and I am very pleased that I was able to get this in my size at this point in its sales life. Soft to the touch and with maximum coverage for cold weather. Love the way my neck, up to my chin, is covered when I tug the top portion up. Hurrah!

GP fish2 …………..LILAC MIST……………is a BEAUTIFUL soft color……a true winter pastel…….It has the look of dried flowers or potpourri…..there is an undertone of a dusty pink……I think these SMOKEY PASTELS are a welcome break in the dreary winter months…………..You can wear the FUNNEL NECK straight up or rolled down, and it stands AWAY from the neck creating an open neckline. Due to the fact that the acrylic yarn is very light these are not heavy sweaters, even thought they look warm and cozy…..which they are……..I have used the Taupe Super Ponte Boot Cut pant, A268216 which is a beautiful balance to the Lilac Mist……Charcoal Grey, Smoke, Tan, and Navy would all look beautiful with this Lilac color…The new FLORAL and CRACKLE BEAD necklace in the PINK and ANTIQUE GOLD, J350152, adds the perfect DELICATE touch to this very feminine color…..PLEASE take a good look at the earring that comes with the necklace. It’s a beautiful earring on its’ own. Again, I love it doubled or worn LONG……………..The color of the sweater was dyed to match the BERET, which if you like is avail. to you on ebay. Jedrzejko, is the name of the company, and the name given to this beret is…….DIRTY PINK…..It’s not a name I would have chosen, but who ever translated the Polish name [the company is in Poland….yes French berets made in Poland!] didn’t have the romantic chip……LOL……..These sweaters are ageless and would work for ANY age………….I think the sweater, the necklace and earring and the beret would make a fantastic Holiday present for someone very special………………………………………..enjoy…………………………..much Love……………………………Louis

I am glad you got the color you wanted. They are cozy. I have that one and the blue one. I wear them with a denim jean jacket and they are plenty warm for my climate.

I "run cold," so I will wear something else under it when I need to pull up that ultra-sophisticated collar because of a big chill.

Truth is, I have been eyeing the sweater since it was first presented, but I managed to control my impulses. After I saw it on a woman at my Wegman's the day before Thanksgiving, I desperately wanted it.

Really, I thought I did not have a chance, but lo and behold, I nabbed one.

@golding76 Glad you're enjoying this sweater! It's a favorite of mine too for the same reasons you mention. Got the blue last year and just picked up the cashew and lilac mist. When it's chilly or snowy around here, that's the sweater I grab to stay warm & cozy. I like the lilac color the best.

@golding76, enjoy this cozy-looking sweater! I have had my eye on this one too, especially with the matching necklace, but alas I had to control myself too and have probably missed out. I wonder if the new lilac pearl necklace would go with it too?

Living in the north, I definitely gravitate to heavier sweaters and whisper knits. Glad that Louis always gives us so many choices (and sometimes not so glad as it is all so beautiful and tempting). Wear in good health and I hope you are having a lovely holiday season. Hugs to you!

Thank you for sharing my delight. This sweater is certainly ideal for your Colorado cold. And, your coloring allows you to wear all three colors well. As for me, only the Lilac Mist works.

I already snuggled up in this divine and sophisticated sweater the other day. Once I decided to take the plunge for the Blue, my size was gone.
