Just Beautiful. I would rather be there then here. It's only 64° here with rain & almost 100% humidity. YUCK!!! We have had snow in Apr but it's not going to happen this year. We have rain & more rain coming in the forecast this month. I had to put the AC on 69° to get it to come on to knock down this humidity.

Thanks--we think so, too--until we have to shovel it
We enjoy the snow--it doesn't last too long, because it's so dry here...With warm temps coming tomorrow, the melt will be quick.
Lucky it fell on a weekend, when we can stay put and sit by the fire. We did the mad dash to the food store, so we've got milk.lol
Are you on the East coast @Nightowlz ?

@GraceCO, I just posted some pics in the garden forum. I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. Just returned from a trip to New England. We had a snowstorm I missed last Friday. Snow is almost gone. See this photo from this afternoon ... Still some in the shady areas of the yard.
i feel your pain😩! I am ready for spring! LM

I hope this snow is not too inconvenient!! By the time it reaches us it will be rain if it arrives to us eventually.

This is what we woke up to this morning...4 feet of snow and it's still coming down!
Beautiful pics!! I'm one of the crazy people that loves snow - just as long as I can stay home and watch it from inside.

I think you're safe...this may turn to rain if it reaches you! Hoping this is the last of the snow, although we do need the moisture.
We are enjoying the snow--believe it or not--but concerned about our trees. Most of them are budding...My DH has been out all morning gently shaking them. We lost a large branch from one of our poplars--looks like half the tree is gone. ![]()

Please don't feel too bad about the poplars-- their wood is used to make wooden pallets.
Shaking the branches off of snow is a good idea especially if its a wet heavy snow which from what you have mentioned it sounds like to me. The branches of certain trees can get bent with that weight on them.

@JustJazzmom@GraceCO, I lost a limb off my Japanese Bloodgood tree this winter. It is one of my favorite trees on the property. I could have cried. The branch was bigger than me. As amazing as it is, the tree still looks lovely and full. Mother Nature's pruning. LM

Oh, yes--Spring skiing will be AMAZING! That's the only benefit! lol
Avalanches are likely to be amazing too. I bet the slopes are very unstable.

Usually the ski patrol creates avalanches so that people are safe when they go skiing. They do this before skiers are allowed up the ski runs.
