Pretty - but I agree - YUCK!  It's close to 80 here in Indiana.  Beautiful, warm.  I hear people in Colorado love the snow though!

Ugh is right! I'm just east of you, but think all the snow is supposed to stay in CO. Hope so! Apparently the ski businesses are very happy with this latest dump!

I'll always remember one Mother's Day in central NY. Got up fully expecting to wear one of my summer outfits to church only to see 6 inches of snow outside. It was the Mother's Day I wore a leather pant suit, coat, boots, and gloves. It only happened once, but once was enough.

That must have been a big surprise in NY--here we are used to snow as late as May. We even had snow last Mother's Day--had to cancel our plans for brunch, but we improvised. It was a Mother's Day by the fireplace, instead!

Oh my. I'm not a snow person.  Beautiful photos but I think I'd have to leave for Tahiti.

This is a storm that creates real problems...I know there are people stranded, especially at higher elevations. Lots of call outs for help on social media...

I'm leaving for Florida at the end of the week...not a moment too soon.Woman Wink Although by that time, this will all be gone.
