I recently attended the Tulane University Commencement in New Orleans at the Superdome.  For the ceremony I wore the black LInea Baseball Jacket, black Linea tank, Linea black super ponte straight leg pants, black Yala Fly London Shoes and carried a black Brahmin Mimosa Melbourne Crossbody handbag. Many woman came up to me and admired my jacket, asked me where I purchased, or just complimented me.  I was surprised!

Your outfit sounds stunning!  I am not surprised at the compliments; my black baseball jacket not only gets stares, compliments, but even husband said wow when he saw it.  He of course thought I probably splurged and spent hundreds and was thrilled when I told him the price.

If you don't get outright compliments (which people go out of the way to tell you) you will get admiring glances and stares.  it's a very cool jacket.

What a great outfit and great story! The baseball jacket never fails to get noticed. I also have it in black and sometimes get a compliment or two when I wear it, but not the kind of attention you drew in New Orleans! Sounds like you wear it well.

The Linea black baseball jacket was what everyone admired.  I do look good in it as it is so slimming.  The styling without the stripes at the bottom takes 10 lbs of of me.  Very flattering jacket and of course, the embroidery is absolutely gorgeous.

You are so right about the jacket in that its fit is so flattering, and it makes you look wonderful! Definitely slimming, I even returned the first one and sized down for the best fit.

I think that is the secret of many Linea garments; not only are they themselves gorgeous  like the baseball jacket and would attract attention even if displayed on a hanger, but they make YOU look so great, as they are very flattering in their cut and fit.  

I don't think people would go out of their way to compliment the jacket if it didn't create a great look on you, so that actually you yourself and how you look in it are the object of the compliment!!!

Thank you for the compliment.  I think the reason the black baseball jacket gets so much attention is because it is so classy and unique looking.  Also the fact that Louis is a master draper and fitter for mass produced garments does not hurt.

Just wanted to say my son will graduate next year from Tulane.  I'm really looking forward to the graduation.
