The shirt is on its way back to the Q for a full refund, including shipping because of the lack of colorfastness. Since it bled on me, it might never become colorfast, meaning a separate wash load for one top every time? Not practical. I've seen this happen with my yarns.

So true. I have a new maidenform bra that just will not stop bleeding ... navy blue. The black (3 of them) do not bleed after the first wash. Same style and size as the blue. Not sure if it ever will. Thanks to my wallet complaining about the money spent on throw aways if I machine wash, at least these replacements were hand washed separately each and every time. Woman Sad So no damage to other clothing and no transfer to skin,  on the one that continues to bleed, but a giant PITA.

I appreciate the OP's bringing this bleed issue up. My shirt arrived yesterday and today I spent a couple hours hand washing it and rinsing it, over and over again, over a dozen times. The blue dye never stopped.

Another day I will continue trying to get the dye out because I really like the shirt a lot. The fit is great (1X), even the armholes are sized correctly which never happens with Linea tanks. The extended shoulders and higher neckline suit me well too.

I am truly grateful for your talking about this because I would otherwise have ruined the white top I plan to wear over this tank. I guess if I can't stop the bleeding, I will return this shirt. BTW, there was no scent on the shirt right out of the bag, but it smells awful when it's wet. Hmmm...I guess my perspiration might bring out the bad odor.

That's the dye you are smelling.

@JGalt

Just a heads up.....with all that washing check the fabric carefully for little snags or pulls.  I've had awful problems with that on this fabric!  I looked down at my lap in church and was very unhappy to find the skirt covered with tiny snags or pulls on one side just from the seat belt.  I consider, sadly, this set to be a throwaway purchase.
