Back order?

My Linea white blazer is now on back order!  What exactly does that mean?  Is there a difference between back order and wait list?  I doubt that there is a new order of blazers coming any time soon.  Is this just QVC's way of saying we took your order in error and now you are out of luck?

I think "back order" means that you will get your item when the next shipment arrives but "waitlist" means you might get it, you might not.  Customers who pay by check sometimes don't send the check in and they can fullfill some waitlist items or perhaps they can order more.  There are no guarantees with waitlist.

Thanks for your reply.  I hope to receive the order but I have my doubts.  I don't think there will be a reorder any time soon.

@CathySusan  You will most likely get your item.   They must be expecting more to come in.   Even on waitlist, I've only been disappointed once when I couldn't get what I had ordered.  @chrystaltree  is right on target.   Good luck.
