In a recent post, you mentioned a no-seam knit top with horizontal strips on the arms/shoulders, which you own in several colors.  I recently acquired what I believe to be that top in beige with navy stripes, however, the fabric care tag (and item #) was removed.  Would you be so kind as to give me the item # so that I may read more about it on Louis' blog and care instructions on QVC.  Thanks so very much.  Jean

@jeancp

Last night I was doing some Linea inventory and switching things around in my closet in anticipation of spring, and brought out that very sweater!  A00025.

It is 65% rayon, 35% nylon and says to hand wash cold separately.  I have washed mine for years in cool water on the delicate cycle in my washer, but it would be easy to hand wash too.  I lay it flat over a rack to dry; dries very quickly.

It is a light crepey knit, one of my very favorite Linea tops.  Hope this helps and if you have any more questions, please ask!

Many, many thanks for your kind assistance.  Having the item number in hand, I enjoyed reading reviews of the sweater on QVC, and will also look forward to reading and seeing how Louis styled the item when it appears in his retrospective.  Thanks, too, for the instructions on how to care for this sweater.  I was afraid to wash it!  It pairs so beautifully with a vintage pair of linen pants that Louis designed, also in Linea navy.  I can't wait for some warmer weather to begin enjoying this sweater.  Thank you, again.

Take care,

Jean

Oh gosh, I have that same top in pastel pink (Louis' perfectly pink?) with black stripes across the front  and back and down the arms. With the small numerical item number, it had to be from when I first learned about Linea. I am amazed I have hung on to it all these years! What am I saying? It kills me to purge my Linea things! LOL! I am going to wear it this coming week over black boot cut jeans and with  a black floral CL faux leather jacket.

I think this sweater is one of my all=time Linea favorites!  It fits beautifully, wears like iron, washes and dries like a dream, and the design!

Those stripes are placed perfectly for my pear shape and narrow shoulders, very flattering. It can be worn year-round, great for travel, and a classic style.  Looks super under a navy or ivory blazer.  An amazing piece.  Louis at his best.
