@Pearlee  I wear an 8 in pants, but I always go up a size & buy a little loose 10. I guess it's because when I had the virus last year I lost 20 lbs. Since you buy LOGO items, I thought I'd ask your opinion. I'm thinking of buying a pair of LOGO boyfriend jeans. With the limited sizes available in the style I'm considering, do you think I'd be better off buying a 6 or a 12? - those are the closest to my size. Do her jeans shrink?

TIA

@Desert Lily  Hi. While I do buy a lot of LOGO I do not purchase many of her jeans so I'm not a good person to ask.  However,

@1Professor  and @dulwich  have many pairs and, I think, have mastered their correct size in her jeans so I've flagged them to hopefully answer for you. 🙂  I do much better with non-numeric sized clothing! (S, M, L  etc).

Thanks @Pearlee

@dulwich  Can you help me with LOGO jeans size?

@Desert Lily @Pearlee

They do not shrink.

A 6 will be too small.

A 12 horribly big.

Best bet to find a style (she has many styles of boyfriend) that has both a 10 and an 8, order both sizes and FIND OUT WHAT SIZE YOU ARE!

Then you will always know your size.

Otherwise you end up with jeans that don't exactly fit and you'll never know how the other size would fit.

@1Professor  Well since everyone's body is different, i agree with your advice.  But, perhaps it would be helpful to her to share what you have concluded about how the boyfriend jeans sizing runs since you've done a lot of the ordering 2 sizes thing in LOGO jeans and jeans jackets. The OP will realize that all body types vary and you are just relating your own conclusions you reached based on your own body, and perhaps you could  convey some fit characteristics of the boyfriend jeans.

@Pearlee   Didn't mention size because I am consistently size 8 in all LOGO styles (5-5, 120).

I don't find the boyfriend jeans to fit differently, they just have a different waste placement and looser legs.

@Desert LilyI'm confused.  Are you saying you are usually an 8 in the regular department store sizes and you've lost 20 lbs? Are your 8's fitting you loosely, then?

I'm thinking a LOGO 6 might actually fit you fine.  That's the size I wear, but I don't tend to like my jeans loose. If it's a style you really love and the 6 is the only size available, you might love it enough to wear it tighter. I've recently lost a little weight, too and I can even go down to a 4 in some styles.  Her jeans do have quite a bit of stretch.

@Suziqzee  Hi, yes, I'm saying that I'm a size 8 but sometimes buy a 10 because I like a loose fit (& I had lost 20 lbs last year but I keep thinking I'm still heavier - body image, I guess). The pants I was interested in were only available in a 6 & a 12. The size 6 garment measurements were closest to my body measurements, but I was worried that the 6 wouldn't give me any room. I didn't know if I should go up 2 sizes to the 12 or go down 1 size to the 6. Sizes sold out since I was considering buying. Oh well. Thanks for the reply though.

Hi @Desert Lily I recommend buying your full size in Logo jeans for a proper fit.  If you are an 8 or a 10, the 6 and the 12 will not be a good fit.

The leggings or ponte knit, I could go down a size on.

Hi @NYCLatinaMe  My size wasn't available when I was looking. Some reviews on the jeans stated that they ran big. Now, there aren't any sizes near mine. I will keep in mind that you're experience tells you LOGO jeans run true to size. Thanks.
