Re: LOGO SHOW MONDAY 4/11

[ Edited ]

So, we all know my adversion to lace along the bottom hem to a top/sweater.  Reminds me Bette Davis in "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane".

Now the swiss dot ruffle rear...  I know Lori has done similar ruffle treatments in the past, but the one on A274971 finally made me realize what about it I so don't like.

It reminds me of those toddler ruffle pants!

I am certain all of the above says way more about me than it does about Lori's designs.  Smiley Embarassed

@aprimo  LOL @ your strikethrough!

@kzjohnson  Please delete your comment above even though it's accurate!  you are giving the "diaper Logo bashers" more ammunition!  Smiley Happy

Here is the vest I had in mind that I also wouldn't buy.  Check out that side photo!  Yikes!

I could almost handle the vest with the chiffon tiers, but that top with the white Swiss dot? No how no way! Cute form the front, embarrassing from the back.

@MaggieMack  I agree - the swiss dot is worse, and the front and colors are cuter too. Darn - why did Lori ruin that?  I'm surprised she does that stuff in the back - the ruffles and the split backs - they are not flattering to a huge amount of QVC buyers.  And Lori is a woman designer - she should know better!

Oh, well, one less temptation.  I think my As Is teal  shoes are in the box that arrived today....

@Trudey  But you don't have the hip/rump problem I have!  You can even buy the thing on Amy's FB page!  LOL!

I can never keep track of what was posted where, so I just post on the most current thread. Remember that buttercup colored l/s top I ordered from eBay last week? OMG! It arrived today (imagine that qiick shipping) and I love it! Super soft, fit is perfect, color is wonderful. Couldn't be happier, especially for the price.

I also bought this jacket here, love it as well. Beyond soft, love the bottom treatment, not sending this one back. Got the athletic gray.

@MaggieMack. I love that buttercup top.  That really was fast shipping.  I keep looking at the Logo jacket that you received.  It is so cute, but I worry that I wouldn't wear it very much because of the length.  I may have to take another look Smiley Happy

@Trudey, the jacket was a wee bit longer than I was expecting, I had to use the little pulls on each side.

I am settling in to watch Inspired Style, then Logo. Voice is being dvr'd. Glass of red wine in hand, maybe to be followed by another!
