@Pearlee - I really like the mocha scarf.  But I think the white in this style would be much more wearable than the other heavier scarf.

@Biftu  You ask a very good question.  However, that top is very unusual - even for a LOGO item (not the usual rayon/span, and how many times has she ever done eyelet?)    It's a great price too.  I probably would be ordering the redwood if it was in the medium.  Maybe it's a really good thing it isn't.

I never knew until you posted the other day that you'd gotten the maple.  I thought the first you got was the spruce (or whatever color that was -smoky taupe and spruce or something?) and then you got the nickel/cham (which IMO is springy).  I missed when you got the maple.   I do think they look different in the different colors (maple and nickle in my case).

I have the other white scarf also, but I did order this one in the white.  As you put it, I think it's much more wearable (and not as much bulk) and the lace is gorgeous.  That wasn't my hesitation - mine was it's cotton slub and esp. in the white it's very summry.  Most of the summer it's too hot to want a scarf around my neck!

I got the maple As Is at some point.  They do look different and I really like all the colors I have but having three is more than enough.  So while I really would like the redwood, I was a good girl and passed. With the new season coming there will be new and different pieces to consider.

@Biftu  Before I went to bed last night I canceled my white scarf order.  I started thinking that it was half the price of the new Little House OTP top I'd like to order today, and I also thought of another white summery scarf I own.  So as you would say, I came to my senses!     I do like the chalk lace scart though - just can't have everything!

@Pearlee - Good decision.  I feel like you, when it's time to wear white it's just too hot to have a scarf around your neck.  It's still pricey and I too would rather spend my money on something else -- maybe that to you mention.
