I ordered a LOGO tank on Saturday, I just checked the status and it has been placed on "Backorder", does anyone have any experience in "Backorder" items arriving?

 

I have only had items put on "Waitlist" and unfortunately they have never been able to fulfill the orders.

@CareBears  Yes, I have - occasionally, although I usually cancel first. Others have also at times received them.

 

It's unlikely though.  I asked the Mods how this could happen. At first this mod didn't know but she found out, so please read the entire thread:

@Pearlee Thanks for your response, I will leave it in Backorder status for the next week or so, maybe I will get lucky?

I had orderd an item and thought it was being processed.   My credit card had already been charged.   A couple of days later it was "backordered."  I cancelled the item and the charge was removed.  I don't want to do business with a company that has such poor inventory control.

@kaydee50  I do understand your point. However, if it's something someone really wants, then doing that is the classic cutting off your nose to spite your face.

My order awhile back turned from order to back order to in process very quickly.

I can't think of anythinig I would "really want" that I would tolerate poor service when I'm paying for it.

@Justice4all Then I am keeping my fingers crossed that mine goes back to the status of "In Proces" this is the one top I really really wanted, LOL!
