I have a 6 qt. Cuisinart and love it. I use it several times a week. If it broke tomorrow I would buy the same one. I got mine at Costco about 4-5 yrs. ago. They don't have it at my Costco anymore but I saw it last week on Costco.com for $69.99.

I have a fagor from macys, slow cooks too. It is electric and much safer than the stovetop ones ( I think!) anyway it cooks well and I like it a lot- good luck!
