has anyone used these little paper bakers? they are maybe 3 x 4, for small quick breads, etc. do you use pam or something like that? they have some with cute little holiday decorations on and i would love to try them.

thanks for any advise.

Re: ? paper baking containers

I purchased some from Amazon before Easter that were larger, as I was making kulich, a Russian Easter bread. The paper is nice and tough and holds its shape pretty well and the decorations on mine were nice, too. My experience was positive. If I was thinking about purchasing 3x4s, I wouldn't hesitate. I did not use Pam. The paper peeled right off. Plus, there are a plethora of articles out there now about the unhealthful aspects of Pam and like sprays. After doing more research on the subject, I threw mine away and have chosen not to use it any more.

Good luck.

Re: ? paper baking containers

You prepare the small pans exactly as you would the large pans. Just adjust the baking time and do the toothpick test.

Like the others, I have used them, no Pam, work great for gifting homemade goodies

Re: ? paper baking containers

I love paper baking pans. I have used several different shapes and sizes. I got mine from King Arthur flour. I was afraid they would leak with but I haven't had a leak yet. This will be my 4th Christmas using them. Like the other posters said prepare them as you would a normal pan
