Has anyone seen this new machine..It's looks great..BUT.......It's $370....OMG..has Keurig lost it's mind....This is Keurig's answer to a Soda Stream maching..but easier...it has Carbonated pods..It's a great idea..but the pods are so expensive and with the cost of the machine..I really can't see it selling right now..Waiting for it to come to QVC...

Re: new Keurig® KOLD™ drinkmaker

With Keurig's reputation for $100+ coffee makers dying after a month I won't be rushing out to get this. For almost $400 I wonder what the warranty will be. I'd expect it to last several years for that price.

I have a Soda Stream & don't use it too much. But if you drink a lot of soda it can save you money. I don't see this as a money saver.

Maybe that's why their stock has plummeted for the mid $ 70's to the mid $50's since late August.  While the stock market has been hard hit, most stocks haven't tumbled like theirs.  Ouch !!!

They need a better business strategy.  Don't think the alliance with Campbell Soup is going to be an asset.  ( Remember the old dry soup mixes --- extremely salty doesn't work in today's health conscious world ! )

I saw that and wasn't really interested, then I heard $400 and thought "umm, no"  Really??!!! $400??!!! I don't know how well it might sell, but I know it's not for me.

And I agree with @jlkz about the soup. I never understood that either

My Keurig started messing up after a few months and finally died after I'd had it a little over a year.  It was just barely out of warranty.  I bought an iCoffee after that, and it works great.  It takes k-cups.  I definitely won't purchase this after that experience.

Re: new Keurig® KOLD™ drinkmaker

I can't remember exactly what the reporter on CNBC this morning said the price per drink  was if you make your own cold soda with the new Keurig machine, but it shocked me.  If you want soda pop or iced tea, you can buy it at the grocery store for less than that.

The reported  price of the new machine was also a bit alarming.  It would take a long time for that to pay off in cost-effectiveness.

After the Keurig 2.0 introduction and now this $370 soda machine, I am beginning to wonder who is making these business decisions in this company.

To me the price is absurd, but also the footprint is very large.  This product makes no sense to me.

I would like my SodaStream if I could stand any of their flavors.  I have tried nearly all of them and find the taste awful.  But really the only sodas I drink are Sprite Zero, Diet 7-Up, and Diet Canada Dry Ginger Ale which I use as wine spritzer mixers.  I also lke Peach Fresca.  I do get occasional cravings for a soda so it would be nice if the SodaStream mixes tasted better to me.

Well it looks nice, but I have zero interest in it.  One would really be tied down to it.  I generally use mia type flavorings for my soda stream, also if I use the ginger ale I use ginger ice cubes in it.
