I tasted sushi for the very first time tonight!

OK, don't laugh : my hubby and I were shopping at our huge, newly enlarged Kroger and they have a little sushi kiosk . I told the guy I had never had sushi before and needed something that would be good for a sushi beginner. he was making samples and handed me one. I asked him what was in it, and didn't understand a word he said. I asked him again and still didn't understand him, but he smiled and handed it to me, so, gulp, I was brave and ate it. OMG ! it was so delicious. I guess he could tell by the look on my face that I liked it because he handed my a freshly made package of eight.

after I walked away with it I put on my reading glasses and saw that it was crab and avocado with some kind of really spicy sauce on it.

I know there are many different kinds of sushi, so I really just got lucky I guess with my very first taste. but really, I need to go on a sushi adventure now and see what else it out there !
