major problem with kitchenaid dicing kit

I bought the 13 cup kitchenaid food processor and the dicing kit is is an absolute nightmare.  How do you get the lid on?I followed what little instruction the booklet gave but there is no way this lid is fiiting on.  What's the secret?  I tried to call kitcheaid but of course they are not open today however I am trying to dice veggies today for my calzones.  Anyone know how to get this lid on?

If your lid looks like......

Use coconut oil around the seal of the lid & it will slide on & off easily.

I used PAM since I do not have coconut oil.  You can use olive or vegatable oil too.

Do a Google, Binge, DuckDuck Do search for the PDF User Manual for your model.  You will need either your serial or model #s.
