health concerns?

does anyone else have concerns about some of the cooking methods that qvc shows? this morning i saw them pull out a microwave item that they had covered with saran wrap to cook with. from everything i have read and seen on tv it is very unhealthy to microwave using saran wrap. also using glass is the preferred container use. i would love your thoughts...
