Re: fiestaware--new pattern

[ Edited ]

I love simple looking tableware too, but I have so many dishes I can't even begin to think of ever amassing more!  That's so pretty.

I have a beautiful white with embossed pattern, complete china set that my mom bought for me maybe 30 years ago.  Never used it.  Delicate and can't microwave it because it has a sliver ring around plates/bowls.  I can't bear to part with it because it was a gift from her 💕💕.

We raised 3 boys and a girl (tomboy)...fine china was an absolute no 😬.  I have actually used the tiny side bowls and salad bowls but have warned my fam - NO microwave!

@wagirl - I think the snowflake pattern is one of Fiesta's best; so many of the others are way too cheesy/whimsical for the taste of most adults. The white is lovely.

The colored options with the snowflakes and the shaped plates are also nice:

@loriqvc --I have all those dishes you showed-except for the green. I use them to decorate my mantle and even on my walls.I use the wire plate hangers on the back and then hang them. I just bought one of each color---I have done the same with the halloween plates too.

@bmorechick --I never had any china, never saw the need for that type of dishware --I had Corelle for many years and then got rid of that and bought fiestaware, most of that is stored as I have no space in my apt now. I have a setting for four that DD and I use everyday.

Nice! But it's so heavy I wouldn't be able to lift it.
