I was wondering why ITKWD shows are getting less and less. could it be because he's doing other shows?Smiley Sad

There's another post here about "electronics" being the big sellers.  Kitchen sales are probably down. QVC is just going with the flow to stay afloat.

I know I am off topic, but the first thing QVC should stop doing is taking anything back after it has been worn. The wear it use it policy is costing the customer in the long run. This policy is probably why they charge such outrageous shipping charges too. Somebody has to pay for that generous policy, and that some one is the consumer.

Just a quick thought on the electronics at QVC I don't see it. There are so many places that offer a better deal on electronics. I've said it before QVC is a dated model, and to stay relevant they will have to revamp.

David mentioned, when todays show started, that Mary is not in today's ITKWD because they want as few people coming on set as possible to keep everyone as safe as possible.  So Mary is fine, but she gets the day off today.  They are also working with less of the crew today as well.

Good idea.

I can definitely see that trend toward electronics happening. I was looking at the ITKWD Shop the Show lineup for today and in a three hour kitchen show lineup, they featured a laptop, a laptop case, two different printers, printer paper, an iPad, a Flippy to hold the iPad, and a portable storage device. Hopefully, these don't all actually get shown live in his show today. I watch ITKWD to see kitchen items featured. If I want to see electronics, I'll watch an electronics show. I'd rather see a shorter, two hour ITKWD featuring all kitchen related products and then a third hour of electronics that I can choose to sit through or not.

I did reply with relevance, and thanks for the advise, but I'll post where I want, about what I want.I don't need permission. As for hijacking the thread I think you need to use the dictionary.

I normally don't come back and answer a negative poster, but I made an exception here, so everyone keeps posting. Remember everyone you don't need anyone's permission or approval to post!

ITKWD has only been airing in three-hour spans on Sundays and two-hour spans on Wednesdays for the majority of the past year, so today isn't anything new. (Even when the TSV is a kitchen-related item, the shows rarely add more than an hour anymore.) I am hoping this trend is happening in part because the execs finally figured out that we don't like seeing every TSV under the sun highlighted in the Sunday show when David will be hosting a full hour of the TSV immediately after ITKWD. However, it is likely occurring because David has three regular shows each week and they're trying to balance his time on air with that of all the other hosts, especially now that there is less overnight live programming.

ETA: I just noticed that next Sunday will be an all-day cook event, so ITKWD is four hours, but the Vitamix is the TSV so expect its presentations to take up all the extra time and then some...

I don't mind Vita Mix demos ad nauseum, I have one and might get a new idea or two.  What I don't like is unrelated product TSV's on ITKWD.  That's why they have so many hours to fill.
