Just for your information you can get lots of really good help & info about Fiestaware over at the "Kitchen & Food" forums, many posters there are big fans & can give you direction on where the best buys are! HTH!

One of my bakers chipped, can I still use it in the oven safely? Do I need to apply some sort of glaze to protect it?

To answer the OP's question, I would not use any baker (Temp-tations, Fiestaware, etc.) that was chipped in the oven. Not sure what kind of glaze you might want to try & use, according to where the "chip" is, there are still many ways to still use your dish. Cold foods, fruit arrangement on the table, large cloth napkin in the bottom & use for a bread/roll basket, etc.

I personally, after reading all of the negatives reviews would not use this line. If you still want to use this line, I would call the company and insist that they stand behind their product and send you a replacement. If they want the chipped product back insist they pay S&H and send you a replacement without charging you for shipping it to you. A reputable company will do what ever it takes to make the customer happy.
